Ghosts, zombies, elder gods welcome - Vampires may apply, but sparkling of any kind instantly will disqualify you.

"I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity." - Edgar Allan Poe

Welcome to Literary Debauchery - a place where I write about writing, occasionally rant and rave, and sometimes even talk about me. This is about my writing journey, my walk through fire, as I complete my novel, Small Town Ghosts, before the zombie apocalypse and periodically write short stories that are the driving force behind the rejections that wall paper my bedroom.

A little more about me

My writing is mostly in the fantasy or horror genres although I write what I need to write. Words have always been my first love, from the time I first picked up a book to read, and a pen to write. I find harmony and peace when writing and listening to music. I usually groove to goth, industrial, 80s new wave, dark ambient, deathrock and apocalyptic folk.

As a writer, I try to find inspiration all around - from people and overheard snippets of seeming randomness, to art, music and books, to the changing light of the seasons, and the din of traffic echoing through the city...i love to watch moonlight flit through the branches of autumn-bared trees, to see snow glisten and twinkle under the fading twilight...i believe in beauty in darkness, the dark in the light, and the magic that is all around but unseen to most.

I like the darker side of life and art but that doesn't encompass all I am or all I like. I like meeting people who can inspire me and make me think - whether they are fellow writers, or painters, poets, crafters or photographers.

In the blood of winter
You may crush my soul
For we can fall no further
The world is hell

We were born to suffer
And glory in our pain
Each dream has jaws to crush us
Again and again

Embrace his blood
The death'd head
When love lies torn and raped
Submissive and rejected
Burn the hand of fate

In this blood of winter
You may crush my soul
For we can fall no further
The world is hell...

-Death In June-

"That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die."

-H.P. Lovecraft-

At the Heart
At the Heart

Our greatest love
